With recent changes to the housing market, housing associations are now looking to review their plans to make them more cost effective.

One of the key roles for any housing association is to manage their housing stock whether they are vacant or occupied.  Some With funding being a struggle, associations are looking for new ways to save money to maintain their existing housing stock.

Repair Care have introduced a new inspection service alongside their existing specification services as a method of saving money for such organisations. Our new service will provide associations the ability to have a cost saving maintenance program that will predict all current and future maintenance costs. We believe a planned program of works is more cost effective than reactive as this can save time and resources. Our 4 simple step process to permanent repairs generates a clear report that can be used as a tender document showcasing a breakdown of saving costs for all parties.

Our inspection service will look at all housing stock to create a bespoke maintenance program which will avoid costly replacements for both occupied and vacant properties. On average, our research has shown that our program can save associations up to 75% savings on the cost of replacement. This cost effective plan could particularly help when associations are having to maintain a property in between it being vacant to being occupied.

Working with our approved contractors, we are able to provide a unique 10 year guarantee for all projects with the continued on-site support.
