Tell us a bit about yourself?

My Name is Ross Nel, born and raised in beautiful Zimbabwe, and moved over to the UK in December 2016. I grew up on a farm in Zimbabwe, where I was lucky enough to experience African life to its fullest. I have a passion for wildlife, as I find it to be so peaceful to watch and observe. I also have a passion for sports, any sports really, but mainly Rugby, Hockey and Cricket. I still enjoy playing Hockey now for my local club, and in the summer from time to time I will play for the local cricket club as well, when needed ha-ha.

What is your favourite project you have been involved in at Repair Care?

This is a tough one for me, as I have only been here a little over 6 months. I have been involved with a handful of projects, but most had either just finished or are about to finish. I guess the project I was most involved with was Dail House on the South East Coast with Sea View Building contractors. I worked with Scott on that project as site manager, and found their work to be great, as they followed the 7 Steps as recommended by ourselves and took care and pride in what they did which we always love to see as a business.

Internally, the company has done a lot of work on reducing our CO2 footprint as a business, I am looking to forward to further being a part of this and really making a difference where I can!

What artist/genre of music gets you through a busy work day?

Well now this can be anything for me when I am on the road, a little bit of dance, some rave/trance music to take me back to my twenties, or some classic rock or county rock if I am looking for a cruise on the highway. It all depends on the mood and what I have coming up next on the playlist.
