Durable fine surface filler for quick, durable spot repairs on timber (paintable after 30 minutes*)

The best of a fine surface filler and an epoxy in 1 product. No primer required. Cures fast, also under colder weather conditions. Easy and fast to apply.

Suitable for:

  • Fine surface filling and quick, durable spot repairs.
  • The filling of nail holes, screw holes & cracks.
  • For repairs of small defects in existing DRY FLEX® repairs.
  • External and internal applications.
  • Also applicable to materials other than wood, such as masonry, plaster, concrete, metal.

*Typical curing time for a repair applied at 20ºC. Temperature and humidity may affect curing times.

Characteristics

  • Quick and easy to apply.
  • Short curing time, even in colder temperatures. Paintable after 1 hour at 5ºC and after 30 minutes at 20ºC*.
  • Can be used with a standard skeleton gun.
  • Permanent repairs.
  • Ideal for small repairs.
  • No need to correct the product when dispensing, product will dispense at correct ratios at all times.
  • Also applicable to materials other than wood, such as masonry, plaster, concrete, metal.

  1. Remove all paint & dirt.
  2. Ensure timber is dry.
  3. Dispense the DRY FLEX® SF surface filler on to the mixing plate.
  4. Mix both components with EASY•Q™ application knives until a homogenous colour is reached.
  5. Spread the mixed DRY FLEX® SF in a thin layer over the mixing plate (to extend the application period).
  6. Apply the DRY FLEX® SF and leave the surface smooth.
  7. When cured, sand the surface lightly before applying a paint or stain.

PPE

We recommend wearing PPE when using our fine surface wood filler, such as:

  • Long-sleeved protective clothing
  • Chemical resistant gloves (according to European standard NF EN 374 or equivalent)
  • Protective goggles

Do not eat, drink, or smoke during use.

Precautions for safe handling

  • Provide good ventilation in process area to prevent formation of vapour. Avoid all eye and skin contact and do not breathe vapour and mist.
  • Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work. Always wash hands after handling the product. Take off
    contaminated clothing and wash before reuse.
  • Conditions for safe storage

    Storage conditions: Keep only in the original container in a cool, well-ventilated place.

    Storage temperature: 10 – 30 °C

    Keep away from heat and direct sunlight
